Our professional calligrapher will verify and confirm your content, then hand-brush unique traditional Chinese calligraphy on the fan surface with exquisite craftsmanship.
Pure handwritten works do not support digital previews. We will fully dry the ink and conduct strict quality inspection before shipping your exclusive custom fan directly.
Customization Rules & Requirements
- Word Count: Both sides of the fan can be inscribed. Up to 80 characters are free of charge; extra characters will incur additional fees.
- Layout Style: Default traditional vertical right-to-left Chinese layout. We will arrange the layout based on your text content. Special layout requests can be noted when placing an order.
- Font & Characters: Default Yunhe Cursive traditional Chinese font. A mix of simplified and traditional characters may appear for better visual balance. Specify your demands if you need fixed font or unified font style.
- Inscription: Standard package includes classic calligraphy inscription (date & signature). Custom inscription content is available upon request.
- Seal Stamp: A matched antique decorative seal will be added by default. Please leave a note if you do not want a seal stamp.

Q: How do I submit my custom text?
A: After placing your order, send your desired text (poem, quote, name, etc.) via order notes or store message. Our calligrapher will confirm the content before production.
Q: Is there a digital preview before shipping?
A: No preview is provided for pure handwritten calligraphy works. All custom fans are handmade and shipped after ink drying and quality inspection.
Q: What is the free character limit?
A: Up to 80 characters (total for both sides) are free of charge. Extra characters will be charged additionally.
Q: Can I return or cancel my custom order?
A: Custom handwritten folding fans are personalized handmade products. Once production starts, they are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Q: What is the difference between Leather Paper and Gold Speckled Rice Paper?
A: Leather paper is super tough and double wear-resistant, ideal for daily frequent use; gold speckled rice paper features delicate golden texture and softer touch, more suitable for art collection and high-end decoration.
- Once the item has been shipped, cancellation of the order while the item is in transit is not allowed.
- Logistics service providers include Yanwen, SF Express.
- If you want to use UPS, Fedex, DHL or other faster logistics services, please contact customer service.
- During the epidemic, delivery time may be delayed.
- If the goods are detained by customs because the buyer asked the seller to make a low declaration of the goods, the seller will not compensate the goods.
- Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and Issues
